Bouygues eyes Ponta Dobela

With the ink hardly dry on the Maputo deal (see Bulk Materials International March/April 2003, p5), plans for a deepwater port at Ponta Dobela in the far south of Mozambique have taken a step forward with the announcement by French company Bouygues International that work could begin on the project within the next 18 months.
