Paradip gears up for iron ore

Paradip port in the east Indian state of Orissa, which last year commissioned a new coal handling facility at a cost of nearly Rs10 bill (US$208m), has found coal handling is not picking up as fast it expected. The port is accordingly gearing up to handle other bulk cargoes, mainly iron ore.
