Oz coal queues go north

While the controversial Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)-sanctioned “capacity management” system has succeeded in cutting queues at Newcastle from over 50 vessels earlier this year to just one or two, bulkers have figuratively moved north, with the Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay terminals listing over 40 waiting vessels in late September.
