The first shipment of iron ore from Mount Gibson Iron Ltd’s Tallering Peak operation in Western Australia was loaded at Geraldton on February 21 – the first iron ore despatch in 30 years. A total of 38,000t was loaded on Guangzhou Maritime Transport’s 40,015 dwt FEI FENG SHAN, bound for Nanjing, China.
