The Port of Rostock in north eastern Germany expects this year to match the 6.4 mt of dry bulk handled in 2002 thanks to existing arrangements with key customers in the vicinity of the port (a coal fired 550 MW power station, a Hydro Agri fertiliser producer and the EKO Stahl steel mill in Eisenhuttenstad, as well as regional agriculture) and some new, but as yet undisclosed, clients being lined up.
