Hedland looks at barge options

CSL Australia (CSLA) is working on plans for offshore transhipment options to ease the capacity constraints at Port Hedland. Business development manager Bruce Watson said an offshore barge/transhipment operation –successfully employed by CSLA for miner Arrium at Whyalla in South Australia’s Spencer Gulf – would provide capacity for junior miners struggling for terminal space.
